Responsible for all University Departments and Administrative Units
- Implements the institutional strategic plan by fostering community engagement through partnerships and innovative projects
- Provides overall leadership for pre-award services, including signatory authority
- Collaborates with campus constituents to ensure compliance with funding guidelines and applicable regulations
- Final Review/Approval of all proposals containing:
- Proposed activities to be conducted in any foreign country
- Institutional grants
- Proposals with mandatory cost sharing

Responsibilities
- Certified Research Administrator (CRA)
- Training and initial point of contact for all University Departments and Administrative Units.
- Proposal development for University Centers, Administrative Units, University Initiatives, Student Affairs and Programs.
- Works with PIs to develop proposals from concept to submission
- Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR) and eBiz Point of Contact
- Conducts funding database training (Pivot-RP, GRC)
